The Speare Bearer: Performing at the Farmer’s Market in Sacramento.

Farmers Markets are becoming a theme on this trip, depending on the format they can be really good venues for me. The audience made me work really hard at these one, but these folks where the first to be brave enough to investigate the crazy bearded guy in the glasses and suspenders screaming about free Shakespeare. Bless their hearts, they stayed for two scenes, and they were really cool. Did 2 more shows after this one, as well as a really cool little show at a cafe that evening, which I went to with my host Ryan Sharpe and his friends. Ryan took me in on REAL short notice, working with a bike advocacy group in Sac. He was an awesome host.

I actually really dug Sacramento, a lot. Real nice town.
