The `Speare Bearer’s Ride: Route S, Pittsburgh, PA to Washington D.C. 09/13-09/17, Pt. 10

My last day on the train, I felt so tired and sluggish, I was going to do the last 50 or so miles at the slowest pace I could, because I already had a place to stay, and there was no rush. I mean I was running on E. I was just phoning it in, because I’d pushed so hard the previous four days on the trail doing an average of 65 mi a day, as fast as I could. and often not getting good sleep. But, luckily I ran into Christine, pictured above, a specialist who works to rehabilitate patients who have had hear problems through thai massage and other hollistic means, was also on her way to DC, and we talked and rode together, and that energized me.  Really nice, interesting lady, really fun to talk to. These are some of the things we encountered that day.
