The Speare Bearer: Welcome to Washington State! 06/29

I believe this gentleman’s name was Dave???? He is a historian who specializes in the history of th Pacific Northwest. He helped guide me as I was riding through Washington, headed to Centralia for a few miles. Since Washington was the first state I entered without seeing an official welcome sign, I had Dave in his bright riding outfit be my welcome sign. In return he got a performance of a Julius Caesar scene all to himself.
